“Find Your Significance” declares the brochure lying on my
desk. Then I read the words of St. Paul, “I am a slave…” (Romans 1:1). And the
words of Jesus, “"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself…”
(Matthew 16:24). What many Christians think about finding significance is quite
different from what the Bible means. Jesus said, “The last shall be first; the
first shall be last.” The way up is down according to the Gospel. The way of
the Nazarene is opposite to what our world and many Christians think about
finding significance. Be the best toilet bowl cleaner you can be for the glory
