Suddenly an illness strikes us. Or a financial reversal
comes up. We wonder about these events; we may complain about them. Those who
seek after God learn that the proper response to such events is, “Speak. Lord I
am ready to listen.” Seekers after God
understand that God often puts them in a place where they can hear his voice.
He gets our attention. C. S. Lewis observed, “Pain is God’s megaphone.” – Ron
