Feeling unloved...

Our world is not a particularly friendly place for most people. Most people walk out of their doors wondering what will greet them. Oh, they may look all put together and smiling, but inside is a different story. Inner demons of fear and insecurity roil around their minds and hearts. It was no different twenty-six hundred years ago when Isaiah was trying to stir up the confidence of his neighbors. They had experienced the humiliation of being beaten up by a foreign power. Who were they now? Maybe you are asking the same thing. Read these words and let them sink into the core of your being. What God thinks about you is way more powerful than what you think about yourself:

“But now, this is what the Lord says - he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine….you are precious and honored in my sight,…I love you….’” (Isaiah 43:1, 4)

Let this sink deep into your inner being today. – Ron Friesen
