All alone?

We all want to belong somewhere. As the theme song for the television show, Friends, reminds us: we all want a place where they know our name.

The prophet, Isaiah, was quite aware of this cosmic, human search for a attachment. He wrote,

“I have chosen you and have not rejected you.

So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.


I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10-11)
