God’s goal in your life
Never confuse Christian perfection with human perfection.
Many followers of Jesus think that becoming a new person in Christ is just a
cleaned up version of the old self. It is true that when we encounter the
Living Christ many of our old ways are set aside and we pick a new way of
living. We must not think that when we have been cleaned up that God is now
finished with us. God is not looking for a trophy for his showcase of grace.
God is not getting you ready for heaven; he is getting you ready to show what
he can do through a life dedicated to him. God has only begun transforming your
life so those around you are drawn, not to you, but to Christ who is in you. –
