It is easy to fall in
love with Jesus. Everything about his life and teachings are attractive beyond
measure. When Jesus calls us to love him, it is always attached to a command.
Loving Jesus is not a sentimental feeling; loving Jesus is an act of our will
that changes our very actions. Once we were seeking our own way, now we are
seeking Another’s will. To love Jesus is to engage in a transaction of the
