Are we ever so overwhelmed by the circumstances of our lives
that we let our time with God squeezed out? Instead of God being the center of
our lives, these situations and the feelings attached to them take over our
lives. If we are not careful we will be tempted to pick up pseudo-spiritual
activities such as mind-altering drugs, sex, pursuit of power and wealth to
fill the vacuum that used to be filled with the presence of God. When we are
overwhelmed it is best to take a deep breath and breathe in the presence of the
