The ongoing changed life…
One of the lessons followers of
Jesus learn early in their new life of faith is that they must continually turn
to God and experience the ongoing-changed life. If we rely on our own wisdom
and abilities, we find ourselves being held responsible. When we keep turning
to God, we find ourselves less and less dependent on ourselves. It is hard to
learn to “Let go and Let God” because we are very well-experienced in living
independent of God. As soon as we lean on the sovereignty of God we find that
his ways are higher and greater than ours.
