Ever tempted? We are not just talking about taking another chocolate. We are
talking about one of the 10 big ones.
St Paul addressed the issue with these words:
“No temptation has overtaken you except
what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted
beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way
out so that you can endure it” (I Corinthians 10:13).
A few points:
Do no think
your temptations are unique to you; the temptation you are facing has been
experienced by many people.
Your
temptation is under Divine supervision. God is sure you will be able to say,
No, to it.
God will
provide a way out it. (A hint – you can help yourself by walking out of the way
– God did give you a mind to think!)
