What are you harvesting right now? Joy? Anger? Success?
Frustration? Happiness? Anxiety? Satisfaction?
Broken relationships? Fear? Hope? Confusion?
Despair? Delight?
Our lives are harvests. Take a moment to reflect on this
truth.
If our lives are harvests then it matters what we plant and
where we are planted.
The writer of the first Psalm thought about this and penned
these words:
(The person who plants the Word of God in their life)
is like a tree
planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers. Psalm 1:3
