God Chose You

God chose you; you didn’t choose God. Remember the human spirit is at war with God because it is consumed with self-interest not with anyone else’s, least of all, God’s interest. Your spirit was at war with God. You did not get God; God got you. Now God is at work in you, bending, breaking, molding, and doing exactly at he chooses. Why is God so hard at work in you? God is doing it for only one purpose, so he can say, “This is my man; this is my woman.” Do not fight to get out of the hand of God. He holds you in his hand so he can use you to show the world that rebellious humanity can find peace – true peace. – Ron Friesen
