“Take off your shoes. I want to see your feet.
Oh, what beautiful feet!”
Who will speak these words? To whom will these
words be spoken to?
Jesus the Christ will speak these words on
that day when the saints are gathered around the throne. Why?
According to St. Paul, those who follow Jesus
are called to proclaim the Good News to the world. Here is St. Paul’s
description:
“How, then, can they call on the one they
have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not
heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can
anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the
feet of those who bring good news!”” (Romans 10:14-15).
Through your loving deeds and words you are preaching the
Good News of God’s love and forgiveness.
Are your feet becoming more beautiful each day?
