What are you?

Many followers of Jesus live in the delusion that all they need to have to be a follower of Jesus is a “salvation experience”. “I prayed the prayer and was baptized” is their claim to the right to enter heaven. The prophet Isaiah understood that the call to be a man of cleaned up lips was more than a call to reformation; it was a call to mission.

Here is Isaiah’s record of his call to mission:

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”” (Isaiah 6:8).
