I seen a man in a wheelchair a while back and thought, "There but for the simple grace of God, go I". The east coast just suffered a terrible storm -
ReplyDeletesome had their lives ruined while others escaped unscathed. Grace? I don't think so.
The Chinese have a word for luck called, "joss". You can have good joss or bad joss or maybe a combination of the two. I flipped a suv three times and crawled out alive - bad joss-good joss or grace? Or maybe all three?

Grace is about God's favor to us when we deserve judgment - when his judgment might mean that we die in the accident - he allows us another day to bow our knee to him.
